Corn Hog O'Karma

NEW World Champ!

From CoonDog to CornHog

What Does Donuts and Corn-on-the-Cob have in common?

Not much unless you are David "Coondog" O'Karma who recently broke the world record for Corn-on-the-Cob at the 3rd Annual Spicefest by consuming 31 ears of Corn in 10 minutes. In doing so, the charismatic "Coondog" added a world title and record to his previous 1- Minute Donut record which he established on the Steve Harvey Show.  Coondog, who recently made a pilgrimage to Japan to visit the Great Takeru "The Prince" Kobayashi and other great Japanese Eaters, would not say whether or not he found the secret to Japanese Competitive Eating Success, but seemed to have the right technique and approach in defeating several top notch Gurgitators.  Father of four and new grandfather of a baby girl, the 49 yo old house painter, free lance writer and entertainer has been eating competitively since the age of 16.  The electrifying "Coondog" often defeats other Eaters who outweigh the 6' 2" 190 LB former swimmer by more than 200 lb.  Never at a loss for words, Coondog will gladly discusss politics, gardening and cooking with you, just don't ask him about any secrets he may have learned in Japan.
