IFOCE Contract: Should You Sign?

When reviewing IFOCE Contract, think about the following...

Q. What benefits are guaranteed to  the member other then "status as an IFOCE Eater"? How come there are no guarentees such as number of contest sponsorships (lodging & Travel)

Q. Is this really a contract or a scheme to contol you and make money for the Shea brothers at your expense?

Q. Is this a contract that an organization that cared about it's members would require them to sign in order to participate in their events? Is the Eater treated as an entertainer or a tool?

If you do not care about your personal and professional rights and the rights of others then Sign.

Remember, you were warned!

The following is the Membership Agreement between IFOCE and its eaters. AICE has decided to post the contract as a permanent item because many eaters have signed such a contract (or similar Membership clause attached to a Liability Waiver before a competition) without consultation or discussion.

In such cases, Eaters may have never suspected an agreement as the one sighted here.

If you are new to the Competitive Eating Scene and you have heard some discussion from other eaters regarding this contract instead of listening to hearsay you may wish to review the terms of the agreement below.

If any parts of the contract/Membership Agreement have changed or you have any comments feel free to e-mail us.

IFOCE CONTRACT

The goal of AICE is to create the highest level of competition and entertainment for competitors and sponsors. In accordance to these expectations AICE events are open to all competing eating groups as long as they agree to compete for AICE hosted contests as INDEPENDENTS and sign a sponsor waiver to respect said sponsor and participating parties.
